Farewell to Checkout Comments: Sunsetting Our Legacy App

At Judge.me, we're always looking for ways to simplify and improve the way you collect and showcase customer feedback. As part of that mission we have decided to fully sunset our Checkout Comments app.

While we stopped releasing active updates for this app in 2024, it is no longer accessible on the Shopify App Store. We’re incredibly grateful to all the merchants who used Checkout Comments to gather customer insights and boost product pages with authentic social proof.

A Better Way to Collect Feedback

If you loved Checkout Comments, we have good news: there’s already a powerful alternative built right into the Judge.me Reviews app. With our integration into Shopify Customer Accounts, your customers can:

• Leave product reviews directly from their Orders or Order Status pages

• Submit reviews via a dedicated View My Reviews page

• Attach photos or videos to enhance their feedback

• Receive coupon rewards or referral incentives for their reviews

This allows you to collect thoughtful product and store reviews from your customers after their orders have been fulfilled.

What’s Next?

We’re actively exploring more ways to help you gather customer insights - such as the ability to request store reviews on the Thank You page and include custom questions tailored to your brand.
